Top music directors of 2005

Gurukiran with maximum number of films stands out this year. Jogi, the mega hit of 2005 is also a musical hit. Apthamitra which has completed one year in 2005 too falls under this category. Gurukiran has also scored the music for hit films like Rishi, Rama Shama Bhama, Auto Shankar and Namma Basava. Mano Murthy comes next. Songs of Amrutha Dhare with catchy tunes is greatly appreciated. R.P Patnayak, Ravichandran, S.A. Rajkumar, Kokila Sadhu are also in the line. R.P. Patnayak has scored the music for Akash which is hit film. Compared to last year, R.P. Patnayak is on a low key this year. Ravichandran's music for Aham Premasmi was well received. But if we consider only the hit films, it's Ayya which stands out. Sadhu Kokila also scored music for a few films like Rakshasa, Deadly Soma and Shastri. Hamsalekha has scored the music for Nenapirali and also for Anna Tangi which are doing well in the box office.
