Produced under the banner of Indo-Hollywood Films Preethi Prema Pranaya directed by Kavitha Lankesh originally had the idea of introducing Dimple Kapadia to Sandalwood. But now due to her unavailability, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan plays that role opposite Anath Nag. Film Preethi Prema Pranaya depicts the story of three generation portraying love in their perspective. It is a symbolic representation to show the need of love in everybody's life. Kavitha Lankesh who directed mainly art films so far is directing this commercial film. Ananth Nag and Bharathi play the first generation characters while Prakash Rai and Sudharani play second generation roles.

Anu Prabhakar, Bhavana, Thara, Sunil Rao, Sampath Kumar, Arun Sagar, Dattanna, Lokanath, Shivram etc are among rest of the cast. Shooting for this film will happen in and around Bangalore. Lyrics by Kalyan and Nagendra Prasad. One of the producers 'Nanna Preethiya Hudugi' fame Mano Murthy scores the music while another producer Ram Prasad sing for five songs. As per schedule, shooting will start this month and Kavitha is planing to finish it in a stretch of 35-40. This film is expected to be ready by May 2003.
