Y2K - film of Prasad produced by Kumar

Song shooting for film Y2K was going on at St. Joseph College campus last week. H2O fame N. Lokanath is directing this film while the producer is Kumar. Hero Prasad, heroine Mithisha Sharma and co-stars were

dancing according to choreographer Madan-Harini's direction. While speaking to us Kumar said that the talky portion of Y2K is completed and shooting for four songs are pending. He started this film with an estimated budget of 70 to 80 lakhs. But now has exceeded the expected budget and it may reach one crore mark according to him. Kumar says, the film has a very unique climax and viewers just can't guess it. He has a lot of hopes on foot taping music that are scored by Sadhukokila.

For heroine Mithisha Sharma Y2K is a debut film. She has appeared in Surf Excel, Airtel and Close-Up commercials. While speaking to viggy.com hero Prasad said his role completely different from that of his earlier films. He is playing the role of a person, who is very possessive about his girl friend, supposed to be his weakness. Y2K is Prasad's 6th Kannada film. He acted in three Tamil films and Akasham - a Telugu film. For a question asked about his expectation from public, he said, "We are sowing the seeds. It is up to the people to decide. Our belief is that when we put in our genuine effort with maximum dedication, the result should be good." Producer Kumar is expecting the songs' shooting by May 20th.
