'Ambi' - new film of Audithya launched

His launch pad project Love followed by Adi for Jaijagadish were disappointing for youngster Auditya. Makeover from lover boy image to rugged action hero in Deadly Soma brought him back on track. He is of course happy with this success but does not want to be branded for bad man's image and hence is his new project Ambi. Negendra Prasad

Though this story too has shades of rowdism, there is no blood shedding, says director Nagendra Prasad. Ambi is a romantic love story coupled with action he says. The director himself is a writes and hence, music and lyrics plays a major role in this movie. Nagendra Prasad has penned six good numbers for Ambi. Kishore, Shobaraj etc are in the supporting roles and hunting for heroine is on.

This being his 25th production, Ambi is an ambitious project for producer N. Kumar. And his expectations obviously are set high - particularly on the director and the lead actors. Director has promised the producer to give his best however. Kumar normally announces the release date on the launch day itself. In the process of winding up the film to meet the deadline, he used face severe time crunch and land up in 'compromising' on many things. Ranga SSLC was one classic example of his hurried projects. But he has learnt from his mistakes and hence has given sufficient time for production and postproduction. He is planning to announce the release date once the first copy is ready.
