Ardhangi - new film of Anuprabhakar

Director Y. Nanjundappa of Gejjenadha fame is back with a new film Ardhangi. Muhurath of this film was held at Panchamukhi Ganapathi temple of Mahalaxmi Layout a week back. Parvatamma Rajkumar, actress Jayanthi were the special guests of the day along with many other key people from the industry.

As the title itself says, is a film about husband and wife. Director Y. Nanjundappa wearing various hats of direction, story, screenplay and dialogs is trying to answer a commonly asked question - is wife a symbol of love or is she yet another element of enjoyment. He is handling this delicate relationship between a husband and wife making Ardhangi a family film. Anuprabhakar plays the lead role against Sunil Kumar. Y. Srinivas is producing this film under the banner of Sri Parameshwari Arts. A.C. Mahendra handles the camera while V. Manohar scores the music with lyrics. Karibasavayya, Rekha Das, Manju Malini, Biradhar, Jo Saiman, Mimicry Rajgopal, Vijay etc are among the cast.
