Ramesh Yadav is back with 'Ashoka'

While the most talked about movie 'Jogi' in the pipeline, Shivarajkumar's next 'Ashoka' was mounted on June 09. Known for variety, Shivarajkumar plays the pivotal role in this action flick directed by Shivamani. For the first time Shivamani is working with Shivarajkumar and producer Ramesh Yadav as a team. Omkara was his last after Khaki, which bombed in the box office.

Ramesh Yadav, one of the eminent Kannada film producers has penned the story himself for Ashoka and B.A. Madhu has written the dialogues. Not just going after commercial ventures, this young producer has an eye for quality-tagged movies. While his production Dasa was a commercial hit, another production of his Shanthi, an offbeat film created its own mark internationally. Ashoka is his 14th venture. This message-oriented movie demands two key females leads and the search is on for the same. Sadhu Kokila will score the music for Ashoka while Sundarnath Suvarna is behind the camera.
