'Chitraranga Kanda Bheeshma' - a book on G.V. Iyer by Sundara Prakashana

To commemorate the memory of late G.V. Iyer, a legendary personality in the world of Kannada cinema, Sundara Prakashana, Bangalore, has published a book, which will be released on Feb 6th at 10 am. A bronze bust of Iyer will also be unveiled on the same day. The venue of the function is Bharadwaj Ashrama at Ramohalli (near big banyan tree). This is the place where Iyer lived and worked. This place is also being converted into a studio in Iyer's name. Sri Vatal Nagaraj, MLA is releasing the book titled 'Chitraranga Kanda Bheeshma. Well-known authors have contributed articles for this book. Iyer's bust will be inaugurated by Sri Sri Sri Swamy and the studio by Padmashree Sarojadevi.

Sundara Prakashana, a known publishing house has already brought out literatures on eminent personalities. H.G. Someshkhar Rao is the editor of this book. Rameshchandra, who worked as an Art Director for most of Iyer's teli-serials has crafted G.V. Iyer's bust.
