'Gopi' - new film of Murali

Yet another addition to the swamping remakes in Kannada is 'Gopi' starring youngster Murali in the lead. This remake of Telugu flick 'Murari' went on the floors last Friday (June 24). Baire Gowda, the producer of Darshan starrer Ayya is producing this film. This real-estate man was overjoyed on the muhurath day as his new hotel 'Chetan International' situated in the heart of Gandhinagar too was inaugurated on the same day!

Murali is proved to be a lucky boy among the newcomers. His debut 'Chandra Chakori' was a runaway hit while he got rave reviews for his performance in Kanti. Much before the completion of his third film Yashwanth, he signed for 'Siddu'. And now, before its release, his next 'Gopi' is mounted! It clearly indicates that he is certainly a young hero in demand! Gowri of 'Banni' fame plays opposite Murali in Gopi. She plays the role that is played by Sonali Bendre in its original version. Gowri is also the counterpart for Puneeth in his yet to be named new film.

G.K. Mudduraj

G.K. Mudduraj with more than 30 films in his credit is directing Gopi. As per his current plans, this project will complete in a single schedule of 60 days. Other technicians teamed with Mudduraj are Mani Sharma and M.R. Seenu for music and camera respectively. Gopi will be shot in Bangalore, Mysore, Karawar, Theerthahalli etc. Producer has no plans of abroad shooting.
