'Hatavadi' - new film of Ravicahndarn nearing completion

Trailblazer Ravichandran is trying harder than never before. And the result is Hatavadi. Failure of his most ambitious project Ahampremasmi did not throw him out of track, instead, it evoked the 'challenger' in him and he bounced back with Hatavadi for producer Sandesh Nagaraj. He wears multiple hats of a director, music director, writer and actor in this film. We wrote about this project sometime

back though it was not formally announced to media by the director and the producer. Learning from his past experiences, Ravichandran decided to talk to media only when the project is in good shape. Hence the formal invitation reached the publication offices seven months after its launch! When the scribes went to Abbaiah Naidu Studio last Sunday, Doddanna, Mukhyamanthri Chnadru, Sharan etc were stepping for a song under the crazystar's direction. Sadashiva Bramhavar, Ballal, Ramesh Bhat, Damini, Jaya, Rekha Das, Padmaja Rao too were also present on the sets.

Hatavadi is an apt title for this film. It is all about a person who strives and surpasses all the hurdles in life to attain his goal. It also showcases the ups and downs of Ravichandran's film career!

Radhika who is Ravichandran's counterpart might look a little too young but the story demands it, says Ravichandran. She is playing a very different but lively role. Friendship has no age barrier. The heroine tries to find herself between friendship and love. At some point in life, a friend might turn into a lover. And that is what Radhika is all about in this movie.

Hatavadi is not the first film of Ravichandran for producer Sandesh Nagaraj. Mommaga was their first venture and hence the producer knows the working style of Ravichandran. In a nutshell, he is not concerned about money! They are expecting the first print by end of this month and subsequently, release plans will be worked based on the theater availability.
