Popular director Renuka Sharma is directing a spiritual film
Mahasadhwi Mallamma. Song recording of this film was held at
Aswini studio last week. KFCC president S. Ramesh, H.K. Patil
and Dwarakish were present in that function. Spiritual stories are taking back seats these days due to craze for teenage love stories. We can still see some movies peeping here and there like recent film Sri Renukamba. Story of Mallamma
is very famous in Karnataka. In 1974 a film on Mallamma
was released having late Pandari Bai in the role
of Mallamma. After 30 years once again the story of Mallamma
is becoming a film. Sanjeev, Iduval and Jaivadige are producing
the film while screenplay and dialogs are by Gotoori. Srishaila
scores the music.
