'Miss California' - film of new talents

After a long wait 'Miss California' troupe got their visa to shoot their film in the US and the team is back in town after completing the US portion for the film. It was an experience for the whole team from producer Ravi Dattatreya to lead actors Diganth, Janu and Soumya who are apparently debutants. Rest of the star cast includes artists like Dattanna, Sharath Babu, Bhavya etc. Kodlu Ramakrishna has directed the film while Sandeep Malani is the associate director.

US trip wasn't an arduous task for Miss California team. As a matter of fact, heroine Janu hails from there while Ramprasad, the CEO of Miss California too stayed there for ages. Even the producer - Mallika Dattatreya is a US resident. So all legal groundwork and permissions were in place by the time the troupe landed there. They have shot couple of numbers having campuses of software biggies like IBM, Texas Instruments, Yahoo, Sun Micro Systems, Cisco, MacAfee, Oracle, WebEx, Netscaler, Intel and Microsoft as the backdrop. For techies working in Bangalore, it would be a great treat to watch their clienteles and their own companies on big screen! Besides the IT companies, songs are also picturized in places like Stanford University, Golden Gate Bridge and Ford Car Showroom.

Mallika Dattatreya's father Ravi Dattatreya has scored the music for Miss California while Mahendran is the cinematographer. This film is expected to hit the screen by August this year.
