'Nalla' - film having Sudeep and Sangeetha in the lead; produced by K.C.N

Latest film of Sudeep 'Nalla', a KCN production is nearing completion. They have reached almost 70% mark completing two songs and one fight. Shooting was done in Chennai for 15 days and now the troupe is busy in Bangalore.

Have you heard about that simple but very talented heroine of recent Tamil hit 'Pithamagan'? If yes, you got to see her Kannada debut against Sudeep. She is not a glamour doll but a superb performer. This is not what we say but the people. Sangeetha has already made her mark in Tamil and Telugu filmdom. She has a very effective role in Nalla. "In fact, her character has much more importance than that of mine" says Sudeep who has limited dialogs but a lot of scope for facial expressions. So here comes yet another opportunity for the charming hero to prove himself.

Selection of casts for Nalla was done wisely. Tara, one of the best actresses of Kannada cinema is appearing as a doctor. She wanted to produce a film but looks like she has taken a break from that idea. This is her first film with Sudeep as well with KCN banner. There was a complaint against Sudeep that he interferes with the director and be an obstacle in their creativity. An experienced actress Tara completely denies this. "I was closely observing Sudeep during shooting. It was a baseless accusation" she said.

Nalla was scheduled to release by end of August. But due to Sudeep's ill heath, it got delayed. On top of it, is a new domain for director Dr. Nagendra Prasad. So Nalla is rescheduled for September. Tara, Mumtaz, Chitra Shenoi, Naveen Mayur. Shreenath, Bank Janardhan are among the featured casts. Venkat-Narayan have scored the music.
