  Sudeep as 'Nammanna'!

SudeepSudeep was bound to 'One film at a time' mantra. Yeah, that is indeed a good sign of quality consciousness. But look at the irony of our film industry. A newly mounted film completes shooting in 40 to 45 days and postproduction gets over in 20 to 30 days! So the product is ready in a span of 75 to 90 days against 10 to 12 months in other language films! It has become the number game in Kannada and looks like Sudeep too has changed his strategy to act in multiple movies parallally! His yet to be release film Sai was overlapped with Kashi shooting. And his directorial debut 'My Autograph' went on the floors recently. And in the meantime, yet another film of his - 'Nammanna' was mounted on May 6th. Again Nammanna is a remake! It's a remake of 'Anna' - a Telugu flick. N. Shankar (from Andra) directs this movie for producer, distributor Balamuttaiah. His debut production Ramkrishna was also a box office hit and we all are seeing the success of Aptha Mitra that is distributed by Balamuttaiah. Nammanna is his second production. Gurukiran scores the music while Anjali Javeri will be the counterpart for Sudeep.

Good job ! Most so-called Indian movie sites totally ignore Kananda films (See the once-in-a blue-moon article in Rediff). This is badly needed. Hope you expand the content. All the best.
