'Pakkadmane Hudugi' - Kannada version of Padosan starring Raghavendra Rajkumar

Raghavendra Rajkumar who took backseat in acting started his second innings through 'Pakkadmane Hudugi' that was launched last week. His entire family including Dr. Rajkumr, Parvathamma Rajkumar Shivarajkumar and Puneeth were present during Muhurath. Producer J.S. Maruthi Jediyavar and Shekhar Karlekkanavar are introducing 'Pakkadmane Hudugi' to Kannada audience. Award winning director M.S. Rajshekhar is directing the film while Ranjita is the counterpart for Raghavendra Rajkumar. This is her second film after Ajju produced by J.S. Maruthi Jediyavar. Ajju is expected to release this week.

'Pakkadmane Hudugi' is based on the proven subject of Padosan (neighbor), a 32-year-old super hit film that is admired greatly! Songs like Ek Chatura Naar Badi Hoshiyaar and Mere Saamane Vaali Kidaki Main…. Are hummed even today. People enjoy watching every single scene of Sunil Datta and Mehamood, Kishore Kumar and Mehamood of that film.

Here Raghavendra Rajkumar plays the role of Sunil Datt while Ananth Nag will handle that of Kishore Kumar and Mohan replaces Mehamood. Both Anantha Nag and Mohan have very strong roles and they have to adopt waggish mannerism. Mohan may have J.S. Maruthi Jediyavar - one of the producers

to speak Kannada in Tamil tone the way it is in its original where Hindi is spoken in 'Madrasi' style. How they adopt it in Kannada is the challenge. This film is using two popular music tunes from Padosan in its original form and Rajesh Ramanath has worked on music. As a matter of fact this film was supposed to be made long back under Rajkumar banner. But as Raghavendra Rajkumar moved more into production, he could not concentrate on acting. After this film Raghavendra Rajkumar will act in one more film and M.S. Rajashekar is working on the script.

Since this film is already made in Tamil and Telugu, whether people accept it in Kannada or not is a question. People will accept it and we are confident says the film troupe.
