R.S. Productions' new film having Murali & Ramya
After
successful film like Sriram, R.S. Productions is back with
its new venture, which is not yet named. This film was launched
yesterday with the temporary title Production No 4.
New director Bharath is directing his debut film with
story, screenplay and dialogues. He was working with Sunilkumar
Desai and Ravichandran as assistant director. The story of
the film is based on the segregation of Belgum. According
to him this is a presentation-oriented film. Heroine of the
film is from a Marathi family residing in Belgum - border
of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Hero, a local boy falls in love
with her. Usually it is two different communities, which depart
the lovers in most of the stories, but here it's the language,
which plays that role. Abhi fame Ramya (Spandana) plays
against Chandra Chakori fame Murali in the lead.
Producer
R. Srinivas is pleased with the story and script. He
is producing two more Kannada films in January. On January
14th he is launching a film Mata starring Jaggesh; directed
by Guruprasad and one more after 3 days starring Upendra directed
by Shivamani. He is planning to produce a Telugu film too
having Kalyan Ram in the lead. Kalyan Ram was present during
yesterday's event.
Ramya who was busy in Kannada and Telugu filmdom these
days is now moving to Bollywood. She is acting in film 'Joker'
with Amitab Bachan, Hrithik Roshan and Preety Zinta in the
lead. Ramya will play Amitab's sister's role. Ramya celebrates
her birthday today(29th Nov). Her last year birthday resolution
was to become a heroine and that came true while this year
she wants to do more
and more hard work and want to give good movies to Indian
film industry. Her second Kannada movie Excuse Me is releasing
on December 5th.
Murali refused to explain his role in the movie as
he feels if he discloses it now, people will loose interest!
His debut film Chandra Chakori has marked 100 days last week.
Film troupe will shoot the film in Bangalore, Belgum and Goa.
Most of the scenes will be from Belgum as the story needs
it. One song will be shot at Goa. Gurukiran will score the
music while H.C. Venu is behind the camera. Chinni Prakash
is the choreographer. Rest of the cast is to be decided.
