Sahukara - multi-starrer film having Ravichandran, Vishnuvardhan, Shashikumar, Rambha and Anu Prabhakar in the lead

Film troupe of multi-starer Sahukara that hit the floor during 3rd week of January is back to Bangalore after completing a week long shooting in Mysore. Including Bangalore palace, many other locations are shot in Bangalore too during last week. Galore of big star cast makes Sahukara a thrilling project to director Om Prakash Rao. Ravichandran, Vishnuvardhan, Shashikumar, Rambha and Anu Prabhakar are in the lead roles. Ravichandran and Vishnuvardhan have come back together after a long interval in Sahukara produced by K. Manju.

"It's a great pleasure working with Ravichandran and Vishnuvardhan. Though they are industry veterans, the way they cooperate and coordinate with director like me shows their professionalism" says director Om Prakash Rao. While talking to us in a shooting set of a drama stage, he expressed his unhappiness about flooded remakes in Kannada. His earlier film 'Annavru' (starring Ambarish and Darshan) and current film Sahukara both are remakes again! But his future projects 'Ayya' and 'Hoysala' are his own he added. Ayya having Darshan in the lead is launching on March 5th while Shivarajkumar starrer Hoysala will be launched on April 24th. One more of his 'Kalasipalya' (Darshan and Rakshita) is progressing briskly.
