'Shubham' to set a new trend!
Film
world is nothing less than gambling to certain extent for
many. People often call it 'luck'! For some, success comes
their way without much of an effort but for some, its always
the next time! 'Hope' is what motivates the later and encourages
them to work harder every time with enthusiasm and innovativeness.
The next-door boy Shivadwaj is one such example. He is now
back with lots of ideas and confidence. Teamed with Shivadwaj
is the well-known small screen director Ravi Garani and N.R.
Shetty as another producer. And their project is titles as
'Shubham'.
"We are trying something different" is what most of the filmmakers
say in general. So says the Shubham team! But they mean it.
They are triggering a new trend in Kannada film industry by
making two versions of the same movie - one for the class
and the second for the mass audience! While Shubham (Classic)
is for 'class audience' with less violence and more music,
fully loaded Shubham (Massive) is for the 'mass audience'
with more action, item number with fewer songs. The core portion
of the movie remains unchanged for both the versions! Shubham
team thinks, its difficult to cater to both segments and hence
this plan of giving the audience a chance to chose from. Apparently,
noted director Ram Gopal Varma tried this tactic but due to
some problem at censor board, that film was never released.
Shivadwaj
who is one of the producers of this movie is also playing the
lead role. It was pretty unfortunate for this talented youngman
to see only flops in Kannada and that made him try his hands
in Tamil and Malayalam. His comeback for Shubham is very crucial
from his film career perspective. Acted in sober roles so
far, Shivadwaj has changed his appearance in Shubham to emerge
as an action hero. Mumbai girl Sanjitha who appeared for a
short while in Amitab starrer Baghban is pairing Shivadwaj.
Shubham is her debut as heroine. Targeting at South Indian
cinemas, this bubbly girl has also signed for one Tamil movie.
"I'm playing the role of a hyperactive, naughty girl, who
turns serious and matured due to circumstances," says Sanjitha
who liked her role a lot! .
