Information
Minister Allama Veerabhadrappa announced the list of Karnataka
State Film Awards for 2002-2003 today. Artha directed
by B. Suresh bagged the Best Film award while
film Kshama directed by Baraguru Ramachandrappa
and Lali Haadu directed by H. Vasu awarded second
and third place respectively. Vijaya Reddy is honored
with late Puttanna Kanagal award and Dr. Rajkumar
award goes to K.C.N. Gowdar. Poet S.V. Karim
Khan is awarded for lifetime achievement. Actor Sudeep
has won the Best Actor award for his performance in
film Nandi and Bhavana as Best Actress for Kshama.
Prayog has won the Best Music Director award
for his debut direction in Paris Pranaya while Nagaraj
Advani bags Best Cinematographer award for his
work in Kshama. Chief Minister S.M. Krishna will be distributing
these awards on December 27th at Ballary.
Kshama has bagged total of four awards while three awards
to Paris Pranaya and two awards each to Bimba and Sainika.
