Vishnu Sena - remake of Tamil hit Ramana having Vishnuvardhan in th lead

There was a speculation that Vishnuvardhan will act in the remake of Tamil film Ramana. And yes, its true. It goes without saying that Vishnu is a magnificent actor. After giving spellbinding performances in many oldies and recent Aptha Mitra and Varsha, the actor has now geared for his next - Vishnu Sena, a remake of Tamil flick Ramana. Like most of the leading actors in Kannada who are behind makeovers, our established directors are not far behind in the race! So is director Naganna! His directorial Kutumba was a hit and the new film Gouramma expected this week is a remake too! Chappale was his recent film with 'originality' tag but bombed in the BO. Naganna is aiming high with Vishnu Sena.

Vishnu Sena went on the floors last Friday (May 27). Except the lead, no other actors were present when we visited the muhurath location. Since it's a remake, there was nothing much to talk about the story either! And hence, as always, Vishnuvardhan's talking went all over the place from corruption to Shiva Sena to Shivaji to Bala Takre to Aham Premasmi! That's not it... it continued to Ravichandran's dedication, Rajkumar's acting capacity and so on… "Rajanna is a hard worker. I'm nothing in front of his capabilities. I'm a sincere worker but not a hard worker…" says Vishnu. He felt good about Ravichandran's dedication and determination.

Govindu, Vishnuvardhan and Naganna

We can call Govindu as new to film production because after 'Anjali Geethanjali', this is his second venture! Vishnu Sena revolves around corruption. Vishnu said, he will act in message-oriented movies moving forward. Deva will score the music for Vishnu Sena. Gurlin Chopra, a Punjabi girl pairs Vishnu in this movie. She was the counterpart for Darshan in Sardara. Interestingly, Manya who acted opposite Vishnu in Varsha plays opposite Darshan in Shastri! Actor Ramesh too is playing a key role in this movie. Its expected to hit the screen on Vishnuvardhan's birthday.
