'Olu Saar... Bari Olu'
Olu Saar... Bari Olu is an out and out comedy film
which reminds you the film 'Bombat Hendthi' released
a few years back.
It's a story of four youths who are bachelors, finds difficulty
in getting a rented house in Banglore. Raghupati
(Ramesh) who works as a make-up artiste for film actress
Roja( Anu Prabhakar) was staying in Bank Janardhan's
house for rent with his brother Pammi (Promod Chakravarthi).
Two of his friends Sadanand (Mohan) and Balu
(Balraj) come to Bangalore in search of job and requests
Raghu to allow them to stay in his house. But the owner refuses
to accommodate all of them and asks them to vacate the house.
Then somehow they manage to find another house belonging
to Jayanthi Deshpande (Jayanthi) but again with the
condition that they must be married. Mastermind Olu Raghu
suggests an idea and according to that Balu and Sadanand
play the roles of the wives of Ramesh and Pramod with the
name Chitralekha and Chandralekha. From here
onwards the real comic sequences starts. Their tricks and
attempts to hide their identity and how they convinces their
girlfriends tells the rest of the story.
Heroines Anu Prabhakar, Ruchitaprasad, Hansa and
Ushakiran who are lovers of Ramesh, Mohan, Balaraj
and Pramod Chakravarthi respectively don't have much opportunity
to show their talents in the film. Still they did a neat
job. Ramesh and Pramod Chakravarthy did an excellent job.
Mohan and Balaraj excelled in women's role. Shivkumar,
Jayanthi, Bank Janardhan, Tennis Krishna, Biradar and Karibasavayya
did justice to their roles. Music by Rajdev is not
impessive. One must appreciate Tadur Keshav's sense
of humor.
cast: Ramesh, Mohan, Balaraj, Pramod Chakravarthi, Anu Prabhakar,
Ruchitaprasad, Hansa, Ushakiran, Shivkumar, Jayanthi, Bank Janardhan, Tennis
Krishna, Biradar, Karibasavayya etc
