  'Prema' film review

Shivadhwaj Film 'Prema' having actress Prema in the lead role is Suresh Raj's debut direction. Produced under the banners of 'Sri Chamundeshwari pictures', this film is presented by Suresh Gowda.

The story is all about the love and attachment between mother and daughter. Though she is a dynamic, strong girl, Prema (Prema) is so attached and possessive about her mother (Laxmi), she decides not to marry because she has to part away from her mother. Vijay (Dr. Vijay Kumar) who deeply loves Prema bumps off Laxmi thinking that Prema will change her mind after her mother's death. Prema lands in police custody as the person who did the accident was beaten by her and he dies. She escapes from death while the police van carrying her meets with an accident. And she gets treatment by Prashanth (Shivadhwaj) at his estate. While she was recovering amidst the two orphan children of Prashant's brother, appears Prashant's friend police inspector Dharma (Dharma) and Vijay who force Prema to marry him. Confused Prema decides to surrender to police. In the climax, inspector Dharma manages to trace the culprit and takes Vijay to custody.

Prema has truly lived up to the role by performing excellent stunts and emotion throughout. Shivadhwaj and Dr. Vijay has molded their character decently. And of course Laxmi as natural as always.

K. Kalyan's music is OK type. Apart from that, there is nothing much worth a mention.
