Sakhi - a new film by S. Mahendra

Muhurat of film 'Sakhi' took place in Kanteerava Studio last week. Director S. Mahendar who well known for sentimental family films is directing this film. Apart from his unique direction, he always has given opportunity to new talents and so is in this film. He is introducing a new hero Preveen hailing from Mysore. 'Vali' fame Poonam in the heroine role.

'This is a unique story nested around a situation that occurs in a film interval' says director Mahendar. With a pleasant mixture of love, sentiment and suspense, he is aiming to present in his way. Produced by H. P. Basavaraj under the banners of B.P. Films, 'Sakhi' has music by Chaitanya, cinematography by Ramesh Babu. Dilip for dance, Kourava Venkatesh for stunt. Apart from this, Pramodini, Ramesh Bhat, Mainavati, Karibasavayya, Bank Janardhan, Shankar Aswath, Baby Raksha are among the cast.
