Aaptha Mitraa is releasing today (August 27). This will be the Varamahalaxmi festival gift from Dwarakish Chitra to all Kannada film lovers. Aptha Mitra is a tribute to simple, grandeur and splendid actress Soundarya. This was her last movie. Vishnuvardhan, Ramesh and Prema are in the lead with Soudarya. Dwarakish produced this film after a long gap and watching the runaway hit pair Kalla-Kulla on screen who are coming back after 19 long years will be a feast. All characters in the film have unique identity. Aaptha Mitraa is a remake of Malayalam film Mani Chitratal, a National award winner. In Kannada P. Vasu has directed the film while Gurukiran is the music director.

Shuklambharadharam - film of Mohan

One more film releasing this week is Shuklambharadharam that is starring Mohan as a full time hero. Designer Mastan has turned into a director through this movie produced by Kumbra Raghunath. This film is based on the sentimental attachment between a brother and sister. Deepa plays the sisters role and Durga Shetty is the counter part for Mohan.
