Friendship produced by Ameer Azad hit the screen this week. This is first film for Dharma as hero. He appeared in many supporting roles so far. Mithisha Sharma and Shamita are the heroines. Two heroines and one hero an obvious triangular love story film! All three of them are childhood friends and friendship turns into love as they grow. Someone has to scarify for others in any 'happy ending' triangular love story films. Watch the film to see who will the looser. B.R. Keshav has directed the film with story and screenplay. Film has Mahesh's music and M.R. Seenu's cinematography. Joe Saiman, Padma Vasanti, Chetan, Bank Janardhan, Jayalaxmi etc are among the cast.

Preethi Nee Illade Naa Hegirali - a film that was launched more than a year back at last released this week. This film has politician and actor Yogeshwar of Sainika fame in the lead with Poonam and Anu Prbhakar as heroines. Though Poonam is a good-looking, talented actress she is not getting right offers here. Film Vali gave her recognition but later none of her films created any marks. 'Jodi' with Shivarajkumar and Jaggesh failed in box office. Another film of her's 'Sakhi' under S. Mahendar's direction made some news during the launch but later took backseat.

Eshwar Balegundi has directed this film Preethi Nee Illade Naa Hegirali produced by Benaka Ramesh and Babu Khan.

Release of this film dumped in the box for a long time may not workout as 'profitable' project for the producers but hero of the film Yogeshwar, who is contesting in forthcoming election (Chennapattana), can expect a positive impact. Film was shot in village background and may receive good response in B and C centers including Channapattana!
