New Film this week - Hrudayavantha, Chigurida Kanasu and Khushi

Is going to be a tough tussle this week between three high expectation films. Battle is not just among the new films but with the films which are already running with good response. While Upendra's Raktha Kanneeru produced by Munirathna is doing really well, Kumaraswamy's Chandra Chakori has completed 50 days and moving forward. This week three more films - Vishnuvardhan starring Hrudayavantha, Khushi directed by Prakash and Chigurida Kanasu of Shivrajkumar are hitting big screen.

Hrudayavantha

Nagma and Vishnuvardhan from film Hrudayavanta

Hrudayavantha starring Sahasa Simha Vishnuvardhan and Nagma is produced by K. Manju. Producer of the film is looking for similar success as his earlier film Jamindarru starring Vishnuvardhan. Director P. Vasu is back to Kannada after a while who has Vishnu hit films like Dada, Kathanayaka, Jayasimha in his kitty. Nagma played the role of wife while Anu Prabhakar as sister of Hrudayavantha. Hamsalekha scored the music while dialogs are by B.A. Madhu. Ramesh Babu is behind the camera. Shivaram, Doddanna, Rangayana Raghu, Renuka Prasad, Shobharaj, Sundar Raj etc are among the cast in this sentiment oriented family film.

Khushi

Khushi - debut for many but was always in news from the beginning is directed by Prakash, produced under the banner of Shree Jaimatha Combines. Vijay Raghavendra, Tarun and Harish plays three main hero roles while Sindhu Menon, Chaitra Hollikere and Madhuri Bhattacharya are the heroines respectively. Film is based on the difference of opinions between two generations and the attitudinal behavior of today's generation. Film Khushi has music by Gurukiran and cinematography of Mathew. Ananthnag, Avinash, Chitra Shenoy, Dwarakish, Ramesh Bhat are among the cast.

Chigurida Kanasu

Shivrajkumar and Vidya in Chigurida Kanasu

National Award winner T.S. Nagabharans's direction film Chigurida Kanasu starring hat trick hero Shivrajkumar is hitting the screen this week. Vidya Venkatesh plays the heroine role. This is her Kannada debut. Produced by Vajreshwari Combines, this film is about a youth of third generation who comes in search of his motherland. B.C. Gowrishankar is behind the camera while the music is by V. Manohar. Anathnag, Shivaram, Avinash, Sundar Raj, Raju Ananthswamy, Deepa etc form rest of the crew.
