Mr Bakra - new film of Jaggesh

Jaggesh was a safe bet for producers and to certain extent he indeed was a 'minimum guarantee hero' in Kannada. However, politics took precedence in his life after a series of failure including his home production. 'Navarasa Nayaka' is back to silver screen after political defeats and this time, he wraps up the project with his typical mannerism as a comic hero.

Babu Reddy, Muralidhar and Shivanad are the new producers venturing into 'Mister Bakra'. Apparently, Mr. Bakra is directorial debut for Vasanth who penned the story and screenplay for this film. He has a reason behind selecting Jaggesh as the hero. He says, "most who had Jaggesh as the hero in their debut direction have succeeded in their career including Upendra!" However, the story goes well with the image and versatility of Jaggesh. Bakra deal with an innocent guy who comes to city from a village and gets cheated allover. After certain extent, he starts to boomerang it back to them. The actual world is different from what we see and believe is what the director trying to convey.

Rohini aka Suji Bala, a new actress from Tamil is the counterpart for Jaggesh. V. Manohar scores the music for Mr. Bakra that went on the floors last week.
