Jackpot - a new Kannada film with Dyan in the lead

Budding actor Dyan from Mumbai is finding South more juicier than Bollywood. It's a tough world out there in Hindi filmdom with overwhelming competition and hence for this chocolate hero who stared with Nanna Preethiya Hudugi, offers from Kannada movies are the better choice! Dyan starrer Jootata was released last week and he plays the lead in recently launched Nagathihalli film Amrutha Dhare. Latest addition to his list is 'Jackpot' that went on the floors last week. Actor Sudeep has a guest appearance in this movie. We can recall that Sudeep has stepped for a number in yet to be released Gunna.

Jackpot is Niranjan's debut direction with story. "This movies goes on a comedy track" say the debutant who had event management as his career in the past. Anekal Balaraj is producing Jackpot. Another project of his 'Valentine Day' launched a year back did not takeoff. Though was a hit, his earlier production 'Kariya' didn't fetch Shubha

much for the producer but the distributors made good business.

Daisy Bopanna aka Anajli is acting in Jackpot but not as a lead. It's a new girl Shubha Ponja who plays the lead opposite Dyan. The hot girl Antra Biswas who stepped for an item number in Dayanayak too is acting here but as an actress not as an item girl! Alwin, Amith and Krupakar are scoring for Jackpot while P.K.H. Das is behind the camera.
