Lankesh Pathrike now on big screen
Daring journalist who created a new wave in Kannada journalism
Lankesh is well known person. Now his biography, politics
& journalism all together is forming new film Lankesh Pathrike.
This film is not his life history. It involves the important
incidents of his life, politics during that time mysterious
death of a reporter Rushid and so on. Lankesh's son Tuntata
fame Indrajith is directing this film. Darshan plays
the hero role while the Hay Ram fame Vasundara Das
is acting in Kannada for the first time through Lankesh Pathrike.
Ananth Nag plays the role of Lankesh. "I have seen
him closely as a writer, teacher, journalist, film director
etc. I will make justice to the role of this multifaceted
person", he says. 
As per earlier plan Shivarajkumar was supposed to act
as hero. That didn't happen due to various reasons. So is
with Girish Karnad. Even the producer is changed to
K. Manju from Kanakapura Srinivas. Shrinivas
wanted to do this film in April. But Indrajith was planning
to direct a small budget film for Manisha Gupta during
that time. So all these change. One more attraction of this
film is Misses World Aditi Govithrikar. B. Madhu
who is writing dialogs for Lankesh Pathrike is happy that
six films to which he wrote dialogues have completed 100 days.
Producer Manju is ready to spend as much as required and budgeting
is to be around 1.5 crores. Apart from this Devaraj
is playing a special role in Lankesh Pathrike.
