Mayur is counting on Love Story

His debut Kannada film 'Mani', sure put Mayur Patel on top among the budding youngsters. Apart from his family advantage, this film certainly helped him to create a platform for himself. But the young actor soon had to realize that it's hard staying up there - thanks to his 'action' films in a row. His last film Gunna miserably failed to set the box office on fire despite of new selling tactic of olfactory effects!

However, the failures have not dampened the spirit of this talented actor. Mayur is confident about his forthcoming movie 'Love Story', a remake of Telugu blockbuster Moro Charitra. This classic love story had set a new trend when made in Hindi as 'Ek duje kelie' staring Kamal Hassan and Rathi Agnihotri. Music album of this film chronicled in time. And couple of original tracks are retained in Kannada version as well. "A very neat love story with superb characterization, locations and music, this film will certainly entertain the audience" says enthusiastic Mayur. Action films being the current trend in the industry, Patel family obviously expected Udees and Gunna to do well. Though Mayur gets the credit for his acting, downside of it is the failure of these films. Let's hope, Love Story puts him back on track that is releasing shortly.
