Ramu's one more hi-expectation film Nanjundi was launched last week. AK 47 fame S.R brothers (Lokesh And Ramesh) are directing this film with story, screenplay and dialogues. Shivarajkumar and Debina Bonnerjee (from Mubai) are in the lead role.

During the Muhurat, Shivarajkumar faced the first scene while Dr. Rajkumar clapped for the first shot and R.S. Gauda of Tavatige Ba Tangi fame, switched on the camera. Shivarajkumar is playing the role of singer. So, songs are the highlights of this film. There are eight songs and Hamsalekha has scored the music for all them without using electronic musical instruments. One more highlight of this film is Kambala race, which is very popular in Mangalore.

Film will be shot in Bangalore, Chikmagalur and Mangalore. Ramu was supposed to bring this film to the set a few month back. Due to delayed films Hollywood and Shakuni, he could not make it on time. He is planning to finish the shooting in a single stretch of 60 days. Doddanna, Umashri, Karibasavayya, Lokesh, Ramakrishana, Chitra Shenoi, Sadhukokila, Hansa, Biradar are among the casts.
