When arrogance reigns supremacy
Grand audio release functions are taking back seat nowadays
due to poor audio market. However, there are producers who
thinks, they can get an additional mileage by means of a neat
audio release. And 'Nenapirali' is one such film that followed
the conventional method to release its audio last week. But
unfortunately, it turned out to be a disgusting and embarrassing
event. Thanks to debutant director Ratnaja!
It was indeed a good decision by the film troupe to honor this year's National Award winners along with their audio release at Tamarind Resorts on the outskirts of Bangalore. And the invitees included Girish Kasaravalli, P. Sheshadri, Ishtak, Vittal Murthy and actress Tara. Though no one personally came and invited Tara, she respected their telephonic invitation and made it a point to attend the function in the evening. But she could not make it on time due to Bangalore traffic in addition to bumpy roads to this vicinity. Further, she lost her way and was unable to contact anyone on their cell phones due to poor signal. As a result, she reached the location slightly late. Though the function was not over, director Ratnaja refused to honor Tara saying 'you don't have time sense'! What a shame on this director who is responsible for one hour delay in starting the function and yelling at others for time sense! Can you imagine the embarrassment when a personal is invited for an honor and called on the stage and then made to sit there like an idiot! That is what happened to Tara and she walked out with tears. It is unimaginably shocking and insulting for anyone in that position. Looks like Ratnaja who thinks himself as a supreme does not even have common sense and miserably lacks professionalism! He is not even one film old and acted as if he is a supreme 'star maker'! We pity this director who demonstrated similar arrogance with senior actress, producer Jayamala in the past about her production 'Thutturi' - a children film! Its high time this director change his arrogant attitude and learn to be a human first. He made everyone remember the audio release of 'Nenapirali' for ever!
