                | | 'Shree' - a touch of Thai!

'Shree' - one of its kind movies in Kannada directed by youngster
Prakash went on the floors yesterday (June 09). Two back-to-back
hits - Khushi and Rishi certainly says this Youngman has brains!
His troupe of 45 is moving to Bangkok on 13th and the shooting
will commence a week after that. 40% of the film will be shot
in Bangkok and surrounding areas that includes three songs.
It was decided well in advance that Vijay Raghavendra will
be the lead actor but the search for the heroine was on. Its
fixed now and its none other than Jennifer Kotwal, the cute
girl debuted into Kannada through 'Jogi'.
According to Prakash, Shree is going to be a technically sound
movie. "People said, both my earlier projects were very distinct.
But Shree is going to overtake those two" he says. Part of
their Bangkok schedule will have chasing scenes like the ones
seen in Bond movies says the producer. They are planning to
use Paracopters. The difference between a Helicopter and a
Paracopter is the height at which they fly. Paracopter can
fly just 3 km above the earth and hence it dramatically helps
the effective cinematography particularly with chasing! With
foreign locations and advanced technologies you can imagine
the budget! But producer Dhushyanth is not concerned about
it. According to him, their Bangkok schedule itself is going
to take approximately 60% of the whole budget. Santhosh Kumar
is the other investor joined hands with Dhushyanth like in
                    Monalisa.

  Another
attraction of this movie is 'Muay Thai' - a traditional Chinese
martial art used in the form of kickboxing. The lead actor
Vijay Raghavendra was trained in Bangkok for almost 25 days.
So stunts in Shree will be a refreshing factor. Stunt master
Ravi Varma in association with Mau (from Bangkok) is going
to blend Muay Thai with action scenes. Another person Satyan
Puttur who is apparently a Karate specialist will be assisting
Vijay and will be with him throughout to give him tips. So
you can expect nothing but a high voltage marshal art in action!
For sure, it will be refreshing and unusual from the routine
with the fragrance of Thai islands!
Valisha-Sandeep have scored the music for Shree that has Rahul
Bose, Avinash, Ananth Nag, Shakila etc as supporting cast.
Second schedule of the film will be shot in Bangalore.
