                | | Yarado Duddu Yallammana Jathre film review

  Navarasa
Nayaka Jaggesh strikes again through film Yarado
Duddu Yallamana Jathre. This remake film of Yeh Tera Ghar
Yeh Mera Ghar (Hindi) staring Sunil Shetty, Mahima Choudhary
and Paresh Rawal are replaced with Jaggesh, Amrutha
and Devaraj. But maximum efforts and care are taken
to adapt this film for Kannada audience. When it comes to
Jaggesh films, there is no comparison for the kind of comedy
he is branded with. Many a time in the film he talks through
his body language without opening his mouth!

  This
villager Gowda (Jaggesh) who fails to repay his loans taken
for his sisters' marriage owns a house in the city. He decides
to sell off this house when the lender decides to auction
his house in the village to recover his loan. But a family
of Amrutha, her mother (Chitra Shenoy) and brother
(Master Yathiraj) who were staying in that city house
for nine years refuses to vacate the house. Gowda with the
help of his friend Police Inspector Pratap (Devraj),
brings pressure on this family but even that does not yield
any result. Finally, both of them together think of a plan
and as per that Gowda lands up in that house and starts troubling
the tenants in each and everything so that they vacate the
house. What happens next? Will he be able to repay his loans
and retain his village house? etc forms rest of the film.
Speciality of Jaggesh is his branded comedy for the mass and
sentiment for lady audience. Thats why most of his films entertain
all age group and class. In some scenes, without even opening
his mouth, he makes the whole theater laugh. His body language
and appearance comes to his help to great extent. But his
fight sequences are just out of synch. And so are the comedies
of Devraj. Though he appears in police dress, for a change
he plays a comedy role, which doesn't suites him well. Heroine
Amrutha of Dakota Express fame has done her best and suites
this role. Bank Janardhan, Chitra Shenoy, Hema Choudary plays
decent roles. Film has two good numbers scored by V. Manohar.
If you look at the value for your money, such low budget entertaining
films are thousand times better than big budget silly comedy
movies. Producer K.C.Kumar is certainly not doing Yallamana
Jathre in your Duddu. A watchable, typical Jaggesh brand movie.
