New Film this week - Rowdy Aliya of Shivarajkumar and Abbabba Entha Huduga of Arjun

There are several films titled after lead character's actual name itself - Shruti, Upendra and so on… Its turn for Darshan. His film 'Darshan' released this week. This film was launched during January 2003 and took more than a year to release. Drashan's role suits his image. Srujan Lokesh - son of well known actor Lokesh too has a key roles here. He entered Kannada filmdom through Neelamegha Shyama (opposite Radhika) and as that failed in the box office he was not getting good opportunities there after. Between this gape he tried his luck even on small screen. Srujan who hails from actor's family need a break to stick the industry. Whether 'Darshan' helps him see the ray of success will be decided shortly.

New actress Navaneeth is the heroine of Darshan. Produced by R.B.S. Prasad this film has direction of Ramesh Kitti with story and screenplay. Film has Sadhukokila's music and Giri's cinematography. Srinath, Chitra Shenoy, Renuka Prasad, Sadhukokila etc are in the cast.

Teshi Venkatesh's production 'Monda' (stubborn) has hit the screen this week He has gone beyond just the production but also directed the film with story and script. Dialog King Saikumar branded for rebel roles is in the lead. Though the title says 'Monda' is not a story of a rough and stubborn person. After this film people will identify Saikumar as 'sentiment king' says producer-director Teshi Venkatesh. Film has lots of sentimental scenes as hero respects women and moreover he respects his mother. Despite of all these, how the title Monda suites the film is a secret! Surprisingly, this film is certified 'A' by the sensor board. Its not because of any sex materials but the violence rate justifies Teshi Venkatesh and is film for married couples he added.

Film has Prayog's (Paris Pranaya fame) music. Prashanti, Vinayaprasad, Sharath Lohitashwa, Pavithra Lokesh, Shashidhar Kote, Jayasudha, Sindhu, Saumyalatha etc are among the cast.
