National
Award for 'Best Actress' split
between Tabu & Shobhna!
Well stars can share their fame 'n' glory, share their lofty successes
or even the doomed fate of their movies…but sharing an award…that's
kinda not really heard of. Believe it or not, it's happening…and
it's out here in Bollywood. At the 49th National Film Awards this
year, Tabu and Shobhana have both been awarded the National Award
for the Best Actress, for Chandni Bar and Mitr- My Friend respectively.
After seventeen long days of quandary, the seventeen-member jury
was compelled to split this prestigious award between the two equally
talented and deserving actresses' - Tabu and Shobhana. Our whole-hearted
wishes to the duos...
