Filmfare 2003 - Sudeep gets Best Actor Award

Manikchand Filmfare AwardResults of Manikchand Filmfare Awards 2003 for all four South Indian languages were announced yesterday. Sudeep starrer Swathi Muthu bagged two awards. This year's Filmfare has a special value for actor Sudeep who has won the best actor award for the consecutive third year. First it was Huccha, then Nandi and this time its is Swathi Muthu that fetched this prestigious award for him. None in the Kannada filmdom has got this award three times consecutively. When viggy.com spoke with Sudeep today, he was in a happy mood. "We work the whole year and wait for the result. As I told before Swathi Muthu was not produced to make money. Now I got the real result. This motivates me to work harder and achieve more. I am thankful to Filmfare and Times Group. Recognitions like this certainly make me feel good that I have not been deprived".
