These days Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh is busy in acting films, which are named after well-known Kannada proverbs. Yarado Duddu Yallammana Jatre was first such attempt by Jaggesh. Success of that film made him to act in Kasu Iddone Basu, Hucchana Maduveli Undone Jana, Yarige Beku Ie Samsara and now he is acting in a new film Hasige Iddastu Kalu Chachu. Muhurath of this film was held on last Friday at Basavanagudi Dodda Ganapati Temple. It's a story of two middle class youths who wants to lead luxury life by marrying girl from rich families. So are the two girls with similar mentality! Rest assured... typical Jaggesh comedy all the way! This film is trying to convey a message saying money is not everything in life. Jaggesh and Komal play the hero roles while Namrutha and Sangeetha Kapoor plays the heroines.

H. Ramamurthy, Sampathkumar and R. Rajashekhar are producing the film Hasige Iddastu Kalu Chachu while C.H. Balaji Singh is directing the film with story and screenplay. Rajbharath will score the music. Janardhanbabu will handle the camera. Srinath, Doddanna, Bank Janardhan, Girija Lokesh and Chikka are part of the crew.

Hasige Iddastu Kalu Chachu is 97the film of Jaggesh. After his home production Makeup he stepped back from production. He is now again planning to produce and act in one more film, which will be based on the file of lowborn. When he joined politics he visited many villages and there he saw their life closely he admits. He says "I felt bad when I saw tear in their eyes. They are still in bad condition". And that is when he decided to make a film on them. He himself is writing the story and wants to explore their painful life. Still he has his own doubt about his fans accepting him in such serious films. Because people expect Jaggesh to act in his branded comedy roles. He says, "They have fixed a brand for my acting. But that is not it. I want to achieve something beyond that". This time he is not bothering about money that he will invest on his new project. His intention is to make a good movie with good subject, which should make positive impact on the society.
